Hello, everyone!
I happened to have to reinstall inventor 2011 and, after doing this, opening an axieme, the program could no longer find the standard parts present within the same.
the only difference from the previous reinstallation was that inventor resided on a partition other than that c: by default. having to reinstall it, I preferred to make it reside in the c partition: to avoid possible drawbacks due to the paths in which the program went to search for the standard parts.
once reinstalled, as I said, opening an axieme belonging to a given project, it could no longer find the content center where to go to find the standard parts.
then in the "projects" window I went to change the path where the program went to fish the standard parts (the letter of the previous installation ("d:\") from which went to take the standard content) making it point to the letter of the new unit, i.e. c:\.
I thought so to solve, instead at every opening of the axieme, the same problem was resumed and that is, he couldn't find the content center, although it was regularly installed and perfectly working.
I also tried to delete the project and recreate it, but it did not serve anything.
I press that the content center works very well, all parts are present and perfectly functional and insertable in any set.
the problem is manifested only with that aid of that project.
I thought that changing the path of the center contained in the "projects" window would solve and instead it was not so.
And fortunately, I didn't have much standard parts in that axieme, if not who knows what a slaughter. Now I have reinstated the standard parts ex novo and everything works, but there must be a different system if not every time you reinstall inventor lose all links to the standard parts and obviously so can not be.
Have you ever seen anything like that? and if yes, how did you solve it?
Attached, there is the image of my "designs" window with the default location of the content center that should match the standard one that uses the program. Is this how you are?
I forgot: I installed inventor as a single user, that is without the vault and cc resides on my pc.
