hello to all, as from title, I have the following problem:

I can't save the view of the simulation on a file with the commando "image to file...".

the image file (.jpg, .png, .eps) that saves me is completely white.

have you had these problems?

Can you give me some advice? ?

Thank you very much in advance.

Michael

I personally use this program www.fraps.comis used to measure frames for second of each application that uses video hardware.
pigiando f10 saves an image of the application work window.
with f9 even a video.

the command saves image has never given me problems, but I use this because tremendously + fast.:finger:

or, if I understand the problem, you can also use windows...
if you press the "stamp" button makes a screenshot of the video on the clipboard. then if you go to any program, from paint to word, and do "paste", you have your image

ok but with this system in the image you have all the screen. with paint you will then have to cut out what you do not care or do not want to see in a possible relationship. fraps gives you the animated window alone.

hi, it had happened to me once too, I don't know why it does so to solve that I had to remake the project from the beginning, ask and reopen ansys, it reminds me that it was not enough to me.

it does it with view and ansys 11...I think it is your problem (driver model different from xp and the screenshot fails). .

compatibility with magazine????
can be, I use xp64. Perhaps the author of the thread addresses the customer service.
They're very reactive.

another solution, but long, and generate the calculation report from ansys and to extrapolate the images. I got it!

even the 12 has this incompatibility with sight, the problem is of ansys and aero, disabled aero works everything correctly. . .

the problem remains of ansys anyway. .

Hello everyone, this problem is also happening to me with windows 8.1.

In fact every time I try to save a video or an image, this message appears to me:

the display setting are windows aero and image capture might not work. please change them to another theme

with windows 7 I had solved this problem by changing the theme in windows classic, but with windows 8.1 I can not disable the aero function, is there any of you that hs found a solution?

p.s. I am using ansys workbench 14.5

thanks and a greeting to all

from windows 7 there is the image capture tool, which works egregiously.
Alternatively, I can recommend a free tool (zscreen) that works excellently: you can select the pane to copy in the clipboard with ctrl+click, the images are then saved automatically and many other things...

thanks for the help, even if I am already using another hypercam2 program.

Although, to say the truth I would have preferred to solve the problem bypassing windows aero, as I did with windows 7, so as to speed up the saving of videos, especially when you have to evaluate, through modal analysis, the first 30 ways of vibrating of a structure.
