problem in displaying edges and tops of a solid

hello to everyone, I beg to be new in using solid edge, but for days I can't solve the following problem. after creating a solid with the extruded command, I should create another that leaves from the one created earlier. the problem is that at the time of creating the new sketch the program does not highlight the edges or vertices of the previous solid. in this way I am not able to start the new sketch at the edge of the previous one. I don't know if the problem is in the settings or other, can someone help me? Thank you in advance.
