problem in opening a file in catia

hello to all, I press that I am not very expert in catia, but in my work often happens that they send me drawings in catia format, cmq today have sent me a drawing with this extension (00031922ua01.catpart.j01.xml) I know that catia can produce a xml file but how do I open it?? I solved this way : I took the file I deleted ( .j01.xml ) and the file automatically gives me the opening with catia, but the real problem arises now as soon as I want to open the file gives me this error (an error in reading the document. Unsuccessful loading) and I no longer know how to open it.... Maybe I'm wrong, I hope you'll be able to solve my problem.

hi, that I know catia writes and reads files with extension *.3dxml not *.xml

should be a browser file... try to open it with internet explorer (with the original name, without removing anything).
