Hi guys,I am really desperate, following a formatting of the pc (via the recovery disks of the same pc) and then once I have erased everything re-install autocad and it does not install telling me that autocad is already installed,I tried to erase everything that had to do with autocad/autodesk (also enabling the vision of the hidden folders) but nothing,as I do the architect and is vital.

As for me the recovery disks that sell you with the pc are only a problem, better a clean installation and possibly make them personally the recovery disks.

However, try to delete any entry in the registry and restart, sometimes it is not enough to delete files.

thank you 1000,I've ''formattato'' the pc through program hp.comany excuse the banal question but how do I find this ''register'' and what do I have to look for? autocad and autodesk and cancel?
Then what else do I have to do?

go to regedit, edit, find, here spulcia all the options, and search with text "autocad" or autodesk" and the voices you find the elimins.

regarding "automatic" hp formatting, asus ,dell or chichessia... leave the time they find, because they never fix the machine 100%. better a clean formatting and install the operating system from 0 and then install all the drivers and programs you need. Obviously this is a personal consideration, also because it takes a lot more time doing things "manually", but the result is completely different. and I think performance is better.

I would like to thank you :d (I don't know if you can thank me by clicking, otherwise I would have done :d )
in these days I will try (I have to buy a new charger for the notebook my broke: )
If you didn't go well (usual screen with autocad already installed) you can't do anything anymore? is this the last beach?(beyond formatting is understood).

I tried to delete all system entries that concern autocad/autodesk, but nothing when I start the instaler always tells me autocad already installed.
between the autodesk folders I always remain 3 that you cannot delete
autodesk shared , autodesk and another of which I do not remember the name, tells me that they are open in another program but it is not true, since doing ctrl alt and canc and seeing the processes there is nothing about autodesk autocad.
help

I'm sorry if I answer you now, but I was in the hospital for my daughter's birth.

if you have a portal you also have the right recovery cd? Leave them alone.. .
Maybe you also have the oem code under the portal check, download the right windows from the microsoft site, burn it or boot from usb, and when you install it you put the oem code. Be very careful to install exactly the windows version associated with your serial number.
I with the old portal with xp feces like that.

if you can't fix it so much it's worth formatting everything, but since you're doing a clean installation, long after the drivers etc. download them from the site asus, toshiba, lenovo... etc... of your portal.

If you have a fix more or less is the same thing.
