I am a student struggling with the graduation thesis and looking for suggestions for the realization of the ground anchoring system for elements that can rotate or change inclination.
in a few words a sort of hinge that allows the rotation of the individual element and at the same time that allows it to stay in balance independently.


to try to be clearer I attach an image.
elements are cables and dimensions 10m x 1m x 5.5m

using the base of one meter wide, the rotation hinge must be placed at one end, the other end is an actuator (piston/mark) for the rotation movement.

a cylindrical hinge that allows always rather small rotations.

do you have any site or manufacturer to suggest to investigate?

Another problem would be the fact that I should be able to make rotations in both directions, but for that I think it is enough to put the zipper in the center instead of in the edge and use two jacks. .

You should use saloon type hinges to rotate in two directions or finish the structure at the bottom very tight and create a ration pin. more than anything else you have to say the load of the structure ... the moment generated at the maximum of the rotation generates the sizing on the hinge.
