Hello, everyone. I press that I looked for with the research tool but I did not find similar discussions. If they already exist, I apologize in advance.

vein to my problem: I downloaded revit 2012 months ago' from the student site. autodesk and installed on my pc, with operating system windows 7.

I recently had to replace the hd of my pc and consequently I took advantage to clean up and format the system.

I am now trying to reinstall revit 2012, using obvious the same installation file previously downloaded and its license code that is associated with my profile on the autodesk site.

I have never had any problem in revit installation, but now point blank the installation of the software is blocked immediately after the start simply reporting the written " error" without any other explanation.

Would anyone give me any indication of how to try to unlock this situation? Thank you.

hello! from windows update the operating system is updated and no further updates available!

is it possible that the license is no longer valid as it is used several times? I ask, even if I honestly doubt it, otherwise I think that simply when I enter the activation code would not be accepted, would I?

Thanks again:

Okay, thank you. Let's see if someone else has any ideas on what to do:)

ps: very nice your blog, I save it in bookmarks!

I take the discussion to the attention. I cannot find a solution to the problem in any way:

ground earth application: revit, like any autodesk software, exists in x86 and x64 version. isn't that you're trying to install revit 64 bit on a 32 os?

Unfortunately revit says nothing else, not an error code, not any type of indication; It just says "rogue."

If there's anything else I can add, I will definitely. for the moment thanks

the problem was about microsoft visual c++ that for unknown reasons went into conflict with revit 2012 at the time of installation of the software. the solution was as follows: uninstall microsoft visual c++ and launch revit 2012. revit automatically detects the missing microsoft visual c++ and reinstalls it automatically and correctly.

As far as I understand, I think I've said everything, I hopefully hope. thanks to all for support. Next!
