Hello to all I have a problem... use inv 2010 and during the migration of all my files of the ver. 2009 I realized that an ipt file had not migrated it is an old creed file dating to the 2008 version that I can not migrate. ..when I go to open it inventor makes me a nice crash...I tried to bypass the operation with programming operations and make migration from them...but you don't want to know... how could I do it?
thanks in advance

in programming operations try to migrate choosing in options only "new complete creation" and see if it works... If you don't need it, I think you just have to send the file to the autodesk if you have the assistance hoping they can do something to them.. .

thank you for the help...I have just tried but nisba....that beard though... there is always one every time I change release...bo...now try to send the file we hope well also because that file is recalled by almost all my assemblies so it is very important

you can also try to attach files here on the forum, so we can try to open it and see if it is a problem with your computer or if it always shows up. .

question maybe silly: did you try to open it and climb it back with 2009? Maybe it's good for him...

domandda very pertinent instead cisto that my coputer and many others now enjoy their own life... it is a good idea only that if you try to open the executable of inventor 2009 I ask again the registration and I having 2010 or fear then not to go back with the license

Well, if it's nothing confidential, or we hear someone more expert on the licensing issue, or you put a 2009 on a service pc and try...or... I don't know...

if you have the licenses in place (or you are in subscription ) there is no problem.
the recording that requires you, if it is in a rectangular window longer than high, is that of "exploring resources " of windows.
Also for this there is no problem, it is a normal request.

Bye.

thank you stefano....I am in subscription... now I also try this

then I actually tried the ver. 2009 works smoothly. .
I managed to open the file charged that on 2010 does not work but any attempt to modify any processing. ..even simply saving it only...also inv 2009 makes a nice crash:eek:....
... then after a minute of reflection rather than pissing...the last idea came to mind and it worked for now....that is I opened the file with 2009 then I dragged the end of the processing in half of all the processing so as to exclude some processing that he does not like and then I tried to save. . . excellent result ... managed to save... then I tried with 2010 to open it and it works...so I saved it with 2010... now but I realize that there is actually a sweep processing that bothers me to remake it you know.....I keep updated
in the meantime thank you all

try to open it with 2009, drag the end part until the start saves. open it with 2010 and report down the end part, possibly feature for feature, in this way repeats the calculations and if there are indigestion operations report it. Sometimes the new versions are less fault tolerant than the old ones, mostly with the sheet.

I tried to do as you say and it works until I come to see the sweeping work I crashed them bad even inv 2010.... so in the end I realized that blessed work in sweep is the problem....unfortunately I solved recreating almost all the file and replaced it with the same name so that when I load the assemblies find me imate and how much more but every time I have to give it confirmation to the message
