problem sections, command slice

Good morning guys, match the problems to make sections on 3dsmax..
practically when selecting the whole structure the slice command disappears and therefore does not allow me to do it section.
How can I do that? You know a way to do the section.

:biggrin: Well then I doubt that they are present in the scene, but it is not to exclude... for several reasons that at this point it is useless to explain. do one thing, make sure that your selection only includes the solids in your scene (in reality the slice applies to other). After selection, use the slice. Let me know.

p.s. to select only solids you have different possibilities. 1 method is this. at the top of the left (tool bar) you have a drop-down menu content with the selection filters. you choose "geometry", and go selection... .
p.s. 2 helpers, in extreme synthesis, are nothing but references "immunes" to renderization
