problem taglia with autocad map 3d 2010

I have a problem with the command size: I am operating on a topographic map (I downloaded the sheet from internet) on autocad 201 map 3d; the sheet is a pretty heavy file and anyway it also takes areas that I don't care about, I want to cut everything I don't care but when to make the selection window of the items to cut it tells me: the geographical entity was extracted as a geospatial entity. one or more geographical entities containing multiple parts or z values are being modified, geographical entities with multiple parts or z values are being extracted as geospatial entities.

I absolutely need a solution, I have to finish the project by Sunday!
