problem with animation

I would like to roll the wheel on the track (sign attached), how can I do?
the constraints I gave are the coincidence of the lower surface of the wheel with the horizontal plane of the track and the tangency of the lateral surface of the wheel with the vertical part of the track (the first problem because it selects me only the linear part of the track and not the curved part, then trying to move the wheel near the curved tract will cross the track).
I put a motor for rotation, but I can't figure out how to give it the translation along the trajectory.
I'm early and I hope you help me unlock

for the continuity on the curve, you have to use the cam constraint instead of that tangency, for the animation with rolling you have to wait for it to arrive be_on_edge!

For the continuity on the curve, you have to use the cam bond
I tried, but I feel like I understand, as it should be rightly, that the path must be closed. I don't know if there's a way to overcome this obstacle

I think you can use the gear constraint by choosing the rotation-linear option.
But I'm not sure. . .

I don't think so. I also used it on open profiles without problems.

I finally managed to use the cam relationship thanks to an example (if anyone can interest the discussion was this: http://www.cad3d.it/forum1/showthread.php?p=62502).
to use it it was necessary to create a surface that identified the path (photo) of the cam, but I did not understand why it was not good for the face of the solid. Is the procedure right?
Now there is nothing left to solve the pure rolling. appearance tips
