good morning to all, my name is giacomo and for a little more than a month I am cad designer in a company of my territory (livorno).
I have a problem with the distinct, in table, in the description column was recalled the common name parameter, which rename a file can only be changed in the session, solving my problem only at the moment. Is there a way to change it on the disk or to always make it stand out with a certain name?? ? I know that it would be enough to give immediately a description congruent to the part, but unfortunately those who preceded me had to learn to work without following any course (business policy..) and myself are still a basic user with a very minimal experience especially in the management of assemblies.. . I hope I've been clear, I wait for answers! thanks to all for possible attention.

the common name parameter is a thing that pro-e manages with a certain autonomy, there are not many margins of manoeuvre.
Unfortunately, the only valid solution is to insert the description parameter in the various parts. there are various ways to do it without having to open all components, such as using relationships, modelcheck etc., to you the choice.
