Hello to all:)
I have my problem.. .
I created a product, shaped by a dozen parts.. .
when I convert to iges, and open the file to catia or sw or edge is ok...
instead if I open it in mastercam, I read all the surfaces well, but it does not break the pieces...that is, it does not put me the different parts, in different levels...me group them all in one level, preventing me from going to create a workmanship to create that piece. . .
Now my question is this...I wanted to know how to switch from catia to mastercam a product and store the different levels(single parts) once opened...if there is a way on mastercam I don't know it :d
Help me!

to open "native" the caia files you need a paid converter, in this way you will have everything loaded correctly.

Alternatively, you can export from caia in step or parasolid, if you have the option, so you can manage the details in a simpler way. on mastercam management and reading of iges files has never been very effective.

I also recommend you, before exporting from the cad, to assign a color for each detail, then on mastercam you can easily select the details by filtering them by color.
