problem with inserting existing components

Hello, everyone. I've been learning to use v5 catia for a few weeks...I have a problem with inserting existing components.

I explain better: I should insert the following components into the product

table_holder.catpart;
staff_piolo.catpart
staff_support.catpart
etc. etc.

and I can't find them, also because inside the folders all the files are in English.

Can anyone help me? ? ?

I don't understand what your problem is

you can't import a part in the product...................... .

then on product1

And then I lose because I don't know where to go looking for sti part.

it is not very clear what you try to do but cmq............ .

we can make a product with existing components, which can be part or product (of course you know the difference .........??? ? ?
first open a new product practically the icon with 2 gears.
you will see the top of the product icon, right button above the icon, go on components and then on existing components .
at this point you will open a window that is like that of the open document, go to the folder where you have your files that you want to import them selections and click open .
you will see that the selected files are inserted with the reference of the x0y0z0 coincidence.
at this point by assembling your pieces ................:biggrin:

Here's the point. I don't know which folder to find these components:

-tavola_portapezzo.catpart;
-staff_piolo.catpart
- support.catpart

who are not part of me created.

other solution open the desktop and see the path under the properties of the files in red

if you have the files opened already in a product ....... do as falonef says or even going to rescue management find the path of the :wink file:
