problem with le quote

Good day to all,
I have a problem with nx 7.5. Let me create a rectangle and cheque p1 (width) and p2 (height).
therefore from the origin p3=p1/2 and p4=p2/2.
Now my rectangle is centered on the origin.
if I now eliminate for example p1 and then insert it again will become p5 but my p3 will resume to p1.
I don't think that's normal. when I press canc I hide only the quota p1 or the helimin?
what is this p3 case for? Is there a way to rename quotas?

hi max behavior is the correct one, practically, when you press canc. delete the quota with its name; if the parameter is used in other expressions, it remains stored in the expression tables (tool - expression) or (expression tools)
when you enter the quota he calls p5 then tell him p5=p1.

or you can generate expressions "defined by the user"
you can do it in 2 ways:

1
when you place the quota he calls with the simple parameter p... instead of writing the number write e.g.: height=20
in this way he records the height parameter and assigns it to your quota.

from drop-down menu "struments-expressions" - "tool - expression"
in the "name" box write: height
in the "formula" box write the value or mathematical formula: 20
If you use this method you have to be careful about the type and the used unit.
example... If you identify a parameter as length, you will not be able to use it at an angle altitude.

a final consideration, if you rename a parameter used in multiple expressions, then rename it in all the expressions in which it is used.
