Hello everyone, I had a question to ask you, I looked in the forum but unfortunately I did not find anything about it.
I wanted to know if in revit 2011 is it possible to show pattern lines in rendering? ?
because I have a problem with panels ....practically I have to simulate the joints between one panel and another and I don't know how to do!!! Please help me!!! Thank you in advance!
I also attach an image to show what I have to do. . .!!!

you can export a set view in realistic mode if you don't need an excellent quality,
otherwise make the render then expose the hidden line view and overlap in any graphics prog.

create a bisello with a solid extrusion vacuum for subtraction from your panel?
Maybe the file will be a bit more weight but I don't think so much.
Am I right?
Hi.

print the black and white view in pdf, with "pdf-xchange viewer" you have the option to export as an image and if you choose the png format you can make the white background transparent. then in paint program overlap the two images by deleting the lines you do not care about
the same thing I think you can do with some paint programs.
I do not use photoshop but I think it amounts pdf and then save them as jpg or other format
or you make your render, save it in the project. opening the rendering view, you can overwrite the image with lines, but I think it is more problematic to position the lines in perspective

good even the idea of the bisello, you must see if then in perspective you can see, especially the vertical lines,
I have made shed panels with rounded edges, the horizontal lines are well seen, the vertical ones with the distance and the shadow disappear
you have to play on the position of the sun and also on the size of the image.
more pixels there are more lines

exact rendering54 is exactly the effect I look for... I need it just for a shed coated with panels, like the image you posted! !
I had already tried with the idea of the xo bisello it weighs me a lot the file and I wanted to know if there was any other method!! Anyway thank you very helpful! !
