Hello everyone I have a problem with the scan to 3d function in solidworks 2010. I mean, I have stl drawings, and in some people, mesh is written in the function tree... in others even if they are also stl I find the written "graphic stl" and I can't do the scan to 3d...
how is it possible is what since they are both stl files? ?

Thank you. .

Good evening.
the parts where the mesh appears you made an import with the scan to 3d,
while the arts you carried out import without enabling scan to 3d.
First of all in the additions you have to enable scan to t3d and then carry out the import of mesh or cloud points.
greetings

no no no scan to 3d has always been enabled... I have never removed it and in some drawings is written mesh and in other stl files..

as from attached image, if you open the file as a red rectangle you will find yourself with ''graphic stl'' on the tree. If you open the file as a green rectangle you will find on the tree the mesh... I hope it is clear
