problema mesh

Hello everyone,
I have problems with mesh on ansys apdl of the attached piece, it displays warnings during mesh. as element type I used solid187, say that does not suit the type of element? Thank you very much

difficult to answer if you do not say that warning/error reports the software.
the only "zone" that comes to my mind where errors/warning may appear is the common zone to the lower plate and vertical support

This warning appears to me, even trying with a brick... will certainly be due to that junction area. I created the volume of the lower piece and then created the 4 kp of the base of the vertical plate putting them on the lower one. Is it wrong to proceed like this? Maybe I should have acted with Boolean operations? Thank you for your patience

this is a warning about the size of the mesh elements.
as the elements are rectangular you could try with a mapped mesh, but remember to combine the common knots to the lower and upper plate.

sincerely I have no experience with solid187 elements. I used shell elements at the time.
