problema sheet metal bend taper - mirror feature

Hey, guys.
I have a question to ask you, indeed two (maybe to someone has already happened and solved)
in sheet metal environment when I create a band taper you also create a line that seems to be associated with the feature but do not understand with what sense.
I can erase it but it automatically recreates itself.
in the info does not appear to be attached to anything, has no fathers or children....boh.. .
Is it just me? ?

second question,
Without leaving the line that is created, I move into work and create a mirror feature, is it normal that the band taper ends on the opposite side? ? . . .a normal mirror does not work like this.. .

I remember that in the ug16 version if you had a hole passing on one side and mirrored the features the latter failed (that is, a hole in length ended). the reason was that the hole was 'to the face' (with an id) while the mirror face had another id.
