often after inserting holes (and having placed them) into the sketch when I return to the part I see less holes than I have inserted and appears the error arrow on the tree to the right. to fix the error I must return to the sketch and reposition the holes, sometimes I have to repeat this operation several times to eliminate the error.

I’ve had this problem since I started using solid edge (2006) and I’ve had it with all versions from 17 to current, with different operating systems and working at 32 and 64 bit.
My colleagues don't happen. the difference with them is the machine, I work on a hp xw9300 double processor (not intel), they on machines with an intel processor.

Having tried everything, I doubt that the problem is given by an incompatibility between the machine and the program.

What do you think?

I always used amd processors and never had the slightest problem, clearly it's a graphic card problem.
try to go on:
tools-->options-->visualization application.
There you find a drop-down menu with four possibilities, try them all and see how things go.

It can also be that your machine has a hardware failure, if you have passed on so many versions of solid edge and so many operating systems the problem has never disappeared... if you have a half hour tonight before going away, secretly, exchange your video card with that of a colleague and tomorrow you let us know!

I have already tried a couple of years ago to change the graphics card but the problem has not resolved.

to me it happened with version 17 (orrenda).
in the holes made by feature d'assieme at each opening/close change the quantity and holes it displayed (also in the table)
from 18 on, no.
cmq I suggest you clean up the logs, you probably have "dirt" that left you vers 17.
I now have the v20-64bit, if I make laminated holes and then turn them into simple I break a little everything and in the tree appears the dart, resulting in marroncino color instead of blue in the sketch.
Incompatibility I don't think there is. Fortunately if it has always been mooolto tolerant on hw and sw installed. If someone ever tried to install inventor 11 knows what I mean... impossible, even on a newly installed know. where I worked once we gave up, x wait for new versions.
a tip, reinstall so and only last video card drivers, so remove any doubt (and the machine will have a big benefit at speed)
I use with discreet cccleaner success, clean files and craps and set up the logs, problems until now never gave me any.
Hi.
silvio

never had any problems, nor in the installation, or work that disappears.

Bye.
If you mean by inventor I had installation problems, eh if I had, on 3 different pcs.
of works that disappear no (for the very little I used inventor), but of tables that do not update yes....
cmq I was referring to solid edge for work, not to other sw.

You'll get the machines with the "masks" in it, I never did this either.
I'm afraid the video card is guilty.

It was clear that I was referring to if, I hoped it was clear that I was referring to inventor.

Hello, good job.

ps. : the "masks", from us, are witches.
