Hello, guys!
from yesterday I have in use on my pc the last version that has been released from the autodesk (autocad 2012 ago  )... and I unfortunately immediately noticed some bugs in the compatibility' with my system in use... just the program performs functions of low/medium weight (e.g. the shift of 200 elements 2d ) the fluidity' of the program goes immediately to get fried : (what first with the version I used, autocad 2010 student , did not happen :| ) , premitting that I am completely incapable to solve (e.g. service pack released/updates video card/back to 2010/low some settings/etc..etc)

notebook property:
acer asprire 7738g
intel core 2 quad processors q9000 ( 2ghz, 1066mhz fsb)
video card nvidia geforce gt 130m (up to 2303mb turbocache)
windows 7 updated from windows view base (preinstalled on notebook)

I thank everyone for the help:

ram? It's a bit scary as a notebook... Try to enable the hw acceleration (3dconfig)
also you can try to mount this hotfix

I bought it last year but as you knew.. Unfortunately, x what about notebooks and pcs in general within a short period of time collapses of value:\, before it was among the best now actually is a little past ^^^"... cmq, excuse ignorance , but the hotfix that you linked me would be a patch x problems compatible to us:) ?

edit: montati .. but unfortunately nn known major changes

before was among the best
I'm sorry to contradict you, but if he's only a year old, it was scary even when you bought it:
my old toshiba tecra s10 is more than 2 years old and is undoubtedly better. is my belief (probably not shared) but I have acer are toys, good only to navigate or to work with office

no, should solve problems related to poor performance (slowness) of autocad 2012

Well, in fact, it's easy for you to be right, frankly, I don't understand a lot of notebooks and different performance, but the family expert was unfortunately unavailable at the time of purchase. and watch case he had x 4/5 years a notebook toshiba (I don't remember the model but had the orange screen cover) that changed only the day that he fried the pixels on the screen  .. cmq I mounted the whole but as I said little ago not known changes :s ... say that it is the case to return to previous versions given the requirements of my notebook ?

It's the video card, geforce is not good, they are castrated in opengl and with autocad and 3d studio, a painting or firepro is necessary. the tegra in fact if not erro has really a painting.

In fact, it has a nvs framework, which is not the maximum to work with autocad but it is not even a geforce  (or worse an ati). a few months ago I made my new laptop; I chose it for the 17' monitor and the video card (frame fx 2800m); this is certified for both autocad and revit and inventor. sin that the notebook cost me more than 2000 euri :frown:

... as soon as the program performs low/medium weight functions (e.g. moving 200 elements 2d ) the fluidity of the program immediately goes to be fryed...

for pure curiosity, since in the workstation 2012 seems more reactive than 2011, I tried to install inventor and mechanics 2012 in the old (in these days it turns nine years) portable of the... 1.7ghz (monocore), 1(!)gb of ram, geforce 440 with well 64mb of memory.. .
Obviously it is not a splinter, but you could even work. . has absolutely no slowdowns (talking only 2d) in autocad... also moving several thousand entities, no big problem.. .
in 3d sits and must have patience.. .
naturlamente I also speak considering your system, dozens (or more) of times more proximate than mine that therefore should not absolutely suffer.

ps: it seems a beastly, but also inventor can be used, obviously with its times and with non monstrously complex assemblies... to manage individual parts or for an "emergency", is more than usable. . .
I'm sure I wouldn't go for simulations or fem analysis.

I could add another gb of ram, it would be much better... Now obviously it works all in swap...
