problems import igs in alias

Hello to all I am starting an important job for which I have to import .igs files (not .iges), I think of rhino, in alias, only that when I go to import it tells me that it can not because direct connect is not installed, now I found on the site of the autodesk direct connect 2011, only that I use alias 2010, you say that will create problems?

edit: I installed direct connect 2011 but continues to tell me that it is not installed when I try to import!
