cfx-pre application error
to all
I am new to the forum of ansys in cad3d.it and are really at the forefront of this software. for a university project I should realize a simulation to calculate the efflux coefficient of a rotometer, or flowmeter. in practice, on solidworks (I used it instead of "design models" [credo si chiami così] by ansys wb as I feel better), I made a model consisting of two surfaces: a cone trunk and a sphere (in attachment you will see an image of the model in solidworks)
rotometro_sfera.webpfluid flow enters the lower section to exit the upper section.
following a tutorial on youtube, after making the model I imported it into ansys wb with the toolbox fluid flow(cfx) in geometry, I managed to generate the mesh but in setup, which would cfx-pre, crashes and appears this error message:
error
there was a problem importing the mesh from the requested file.
the importing process reported the following problem:

model "model" does not have a valid mesh associated with it.

body b9 is an unsuppressed surface body that does not enclose
a volume. only 3d volume meshes can be imported. if your model
contains valid bodies as well as surface bodies then suppress
the surface bodies and remesh before continuing.

error: failed to export model.
while reading dedicated forums I couldn't exactly understand the nature of the problem and solve it accordingly. so I ask you advice and thank you in advance of your availability. I remain available for any clarification.

cordially

you need the wet domain ... close the cone and remove the ball and everything will work
