problems with development double curvature surfaces and fold

I'm new to this community and I've been using rhinoceros for a month so I'm calling myself a neophyte of the program with little knowledge.
from attached images you can notice a folded srf on the edge, I must straighten it (already made an attempt with the fold command bend without results) and then develop it to find the area of the surface.
here comes the second problem being double curvature surfaces I can not use develop surfaces.

Is there anyone who can help me?
