problems with variable radius!

Hey, everybody!
a question... I recently installed catia v5 on my pc, and using the variable radius on a solid practically does not change the parameters but gives me it as a constant radius. putting minimum tangency makes me change the values but continues to say that he can't calculate the radius... Am I wronging some setting or have there been installation problems according to you?

to me it works remember that to change the parameters you have to go on the chart tree
and from them you can change the point-by-point rays parameters (every segment has two points)
