Good morning.
I need help.
I have created a series of 3d symbols and I have connected there to a taborium within which there are 5 questions (e.g. material, size, perimeter, weight etc.)
I would like to save the data of each symbol in such a way that they remain stored and that should not insert them whenever I insert the symbol into the drawing sheet in the data information panel.
I would like to say that the information of my symbol is always present by dragging the symbol onto the drawing sheet.

I hope you help me or tell me where to see this information
Thank you.

Hi.
the data you enter manually are not stored in the symbol, just because they are "external" data considering that these symbols are different but connected to the same tab.
aluni data such as size (height, width, perimeter, surface automatically extracts them from the symbol) can already be present in the electronic sheet automatically, setting in the formula field those related to the type of information you want to display.
for other information, material type and weight, you can avoid rewriting them from one symbol to another using the pipette-shaped tool (select attributes/eyedropper tool), having selected for this tool the tab/record item.
I do.

Good evening, thank you for the first info.
I need help on the profile extrusion command.
design two polygons 2d one closed and one open and then select them and activate the extrusion command on profile but it appears to me a pop-ip that tells me that it is not possible to do it because they are not open and closed polygons.
I can't find a solution.

Thank you.

I think it's weird. the command works both with closed and open polygons.
can you post a polygon screen image and error message?

a service note: when you ask a new question about a different topic you have to open a new discussion, otherwise other interested people risk losing their messages.
Thank you.

Hi.
I see you're using a slightly dated version of vw and maybe it's due to that.
he speaks to you expressly of 2d polygons; instead you are using the nurbs, which are entities that live in the three-dimensional space.
the latest versions of vw allow that type of extrusions even starting from nurbs. the one you're using obviously not, he really wants 2d polygons.
I do.
