hello to all cad3d friends,
I need to understand if it is possible to project polygons on tin surfaces.
I practically created a surface with level curves and now I have to project objects on the surface.
the surface was created with civilization 3d, and now I need to take the next step, bringing back a series of objects, houses, roads, etc....

Thank you.

hello to all cad3d friends,
I need a few tips. I need to build a three-dimensional model of a city, so an urban staircase. digitized a map with raster design that allowed me to create a tinc surface with level curves.
Now my problem is this: I have to add to the same surface ti the fact state from 2d to 3d. I tried with projections of objects, but it does not work, tristan gave me a advice trying to transform the objects into traces and then hook them, but the system really is laborious. . .

are open to any solution (starting to make the surface)

Thank you.

Sorry finibus, question that may seem impertinent but... where are you trying to get there? if your purpose is the tridmensional representation of a city you have wrong software! autocad civilization 3d is not born to do this...
edit: Do you have to do something like that?
