Good evening to all,

I am about to receive a proposal for hiring from a company away from my house 150 km, which would offer me the opportunity to work 3 days in the presence and 2 from home, which would allow me to stay home with my family for most of the time.
I don’t have much experience in this type of offers, according to you what should the company guarantee me in economic terms and benefits?
I currently have a heral including 35000 and the role they seek is not present in their areas.

if they guarantee you company car with total fuel refund+ highway in the home-work section and insurance helmet when driving you and standard when driving your wife might already be from "advantageous".
As for stress obviously depends on the stretch of road you have to do, i.e. if you take about an hour and a half or almost 3 and if you meet with short lunch breaks etc.
I personally did in the distant 2008 for a very short period parma-podenzano, but every day without any refund; I remember that at that time they were setting up the corporate courtyard and alternatively they had to park "outside"; I mentioned my particular situation that if to me for any reason they were washing a rubber or breaking a mirror I could not ask for a ride or get me to pick up from home, but there was nothing to do.
the worst day were the Fridays of July when on the return, already at the exit of pleasure I found already line, in the end I resisted little and I returned to the province of parma.
everything, however, obviously depends on the availability of people both of your office and others, if they come to you in some way without you being ridiculously seen as a "privileged" from others you can do, instead personally work two days a week in smart, maybe with some flexibility I would find it very useful to run small chores that otherwise would force you to take permits etc.

Thanks for the answer, I actually thought about making two nights out in hotel/apartment and then 5 nights at home and 2 out. so I would have the hotel and car shopping to support!

agreed with @kaji; if you need to stay on the road with additional costs of hotel/apartment, you need to document well on total expenses (see aci tables, highway costs, hotel costs, etc.) that you will have to deal with to ask for appropriate fringe benefits that allow you to consider profitable change of work.

as I told you I have no direct experiences in this situation and I assume that your 90 indicates that you are 33 years old; it seems to me that for a medium-small metal company of the Romagna emilia guarantee at least accommodation and company car to a already formed designer (if they do not consider you format and independent would not make you work in smartworking), considering your age, on which he wants to invest is more or less the minimum, even at levels of cost, i.e. any metalmeccanica company of the north italia every day that opens the gates has cost to at least 20 thousand €.
Also the purchase of the car is not necessary that you buy a new a4 Audi, can also "buy" your current car at the value of four wheels and cover all expenses, many do so, and then between two or three years that will know how much it is worth investing on you to choose a new car, maybe in leasing.
if instead you work for a design studio, but I don't think, then the situation could be different as they would live on the difference of how much you cost and make you earn as a person.

I have no idea why I have always changed my job for the reasons that pushed me away, never for those that attracted me so I never bargained for 100 € more or less; However, I remain of the idea that in your specific case the benefits must represent the main part of the bargaining also because a benefit that saves you 300€ per month to the company maybe costs 200, while every 100 € added in pay envelope to the company cost 150 or even more.
said this much depends on the counterpart, that is, if on the other side you have a manager of the resources of a medium-large company i.e. one that manages things rationally, all suggestions can have a sense, if instead in front you have the owner of a patronage company with the Sun King syndrome, nothing has a logic and a simple request could be interpreted as insolence.
Unlike previous suggestions, I would probably be less surprised by the reticence of the other party with regard to repayment of petrol, even because unfortunately, although it is a legitimate request, many having this right take advantage and go in the car also to lisbon; a good compromise could be to make a convention with a distributor near the workplace (which would also guarantee a savings for the company itself) but it would be a bit annoying from the bureaucratic point of view.
However as last tips I recommend you to accurately calculate the house-work distance because, if I don't remember badly, I think that 150 km is just the limit, for example for transferists, for which you pass from work nearby to those at distance for which the diary also covers the overnight stay, so also in your specific case may have relevance.
