Here is another problem that happened to me today: I'm designing a matrix and punch to cut a fabric diamanta.
all the values of the various games to leave between matrix and punch, corners of sform etc... I found them in reference to cutting sheets. according to you:

- I'll take those values for good, and I'll stick them to my case or

- do you know how I can adapt this processing to the cut of a completely different material in mechanical characteristics? ? ?

I would work on the second case. This is a canvas that would be inspired by the textile industry. probably the material of your canvas is different, but less and less than compared to a sheet. In principle I would say that they are much lower, being much less resistant to bending. if not refer to very thin sheets of gold or copper, very ductile
What would concern me most is the fact that it is a strongly abrasive material, so the only way I think to make the blades last is to cover them with a similar material, at least on the abrasive side.
