questions about straus7

hi to all and compliments for the forum I just signed up because I had questions about straus7, which I am trying to learn from just a little at a time only that despite downloading some manuals some things don't come back right here the questions:

1) when I amount the 3d files from autocad and I apply the meshatore the program performs what I tell him but when I then apply the interested forces and their resistances and I do solve most of the times I get an error message where I write incorrect number of nodes because I exit this message?? Isn't he the one who fixed them?? How do I get the correct number of knots when I use the meshatore?

2) When I use the meshatore to create volume elements and not only surface, I must always start from surface mesh right? ?

3) sometimes when I solve a case as well it simplifies with auctions and click nodes on solve the program performs the calculation but after I go to open the result it comes out written: cannot find and the path of the file just solved... Why do you do it to me and you don't open my job? ? ?

I hope to receive some answers because I really have some good ideas for this software, and I would love to learn how to use it in my faculty also do closed courses on this software quinsi hope to have some help in advance for answers a greeting to all

Hi.
I'm a little late, but I'm trying to answer you.
1) the "cleaning" of the model is not done automatically but it must be done before starting the resolver. go to tools->clean->mesh and then "apply". with this you should solve.
2) to create "brick" elements (solids) you have to pass through the "plate" elements (plates).
3) I think that mistake gives you that because it didn't really solve the structure. when finished calculation try to see if in the last two rows "warnings" there are errors. If yes, go back to the beginning of the text and see what problems there are. to me happens when I forget to put the material or thickness to the various elements.
