if the thread is made by a "wire" you can use the helical removal sweeps after first creating the stem (presumption from cylindrical to "triangular" with a parallel blend with transition

if the thread also follows the surface of the stem you have to get the parametric equations of the curves and surfaces in play.

All this makes sense if screw projects, if you use them only in the cad it is not worth it, four screws of these inserted in a set of weight the model exponentially

hi, thanks to your answer in fact considering that the section is not circular, the helical sweep is to be excluded. but perhaps this is the minor problem, in fact with a sweep blend wrapped on the triangular section, mostly rounded, I have already managed to have a satisfactory result. now I have to build the thread that extends on the variable section (the profile follows a circle arc), rather difficult if you think that then you also need to "connect" it to the previous thread. I had also thought of mathematical equations to be developed with the help of maple, but then I would have some difficulty implementing them on wf.
