Hello everyone, I have a question about quotations: Trying to quote all doors and windows, I noticed that I do not automatically quote those created by me, while the other "classes" yes. Do I have to set some particular parameters to make my quoti in the car?
a greeting, good evening to all:wink:

you have to set the propietá is a reference of the reference plans to which the geometry constituting the elements of the family....you have different options you can choose from a precise right reference, left etc. or limit yourself to set strong or weak ref, strong references are used as the first choice for quotations.

Hi.

I checked, I had already set up and hooked the various reference plans;)
Well, now I'm odd, like it puts me the widths at 1 and the heights at 2.. It looks like it's standing in meters, but maybe I'm wrong. measuring units are in millimeters.
I attach a window in case you want to throw an eye

ok, I discovered one thing: changing the design units in meters and centimeters, the quota is correct (I must however use the predefined words "height" and "width" for the corresponding measures, otherwise it does not work). I just need to use the measuring unit in meters, but I want the window to be quoted in centimeters. Is that possible? thanks in advance;)

Of course, you have to create a type of share that you use the measurement unit you prefer.
take a type then duplichi in its properties of the type imposed the new unit of measurement

Hello, lance, thank you first. question: how do I impose the unit of measurement? no I explain, I'm using some labels posted by frank here in this forum (but I can't find the topic anymore, if anything I attach them back here), and..the other doors are quoted correctly in centimeters. only mine are quoted in meters!

Then I realized it was a problem of quotation with the entire wall tool not that it was a problem of labels.....no problem :)
1)open the family of labels
2)Select the label text for the quantities you want to change the measuring unit
3)In the editing panel text label below on the right you find the change button unit size of the parameter (the handle with the gate)
in the format panel remove the check symbol to use project settings and choose the drive you prefer.. .
4)reload the family into the project by replacing existing values and everything should be ok.
Hi.

Hello lance,
Sorry for the late answer but I did a weekend of fire, I just finished printing for the delivery! (among other things I have to ask a question about quotations but, I will open a special topic!).
Thank you very much for the advice, now I try and let you know.
Thanks again and good day! :
