Are there simple tutorials? Where can I find them?

also find help-> via www that you can connect to to find: guides/manuals, or training classes, or video training.

if you have installed nastran documentation, find in the index (nastran_library.pdf) the application examplas session that, regardless of patran, you can understand how nastran file input is made for different applications (in md r3 you have 55 different applications detailed).

I recommend simulatemore on youtube, there are really many tutorials done very well. When I started using Patran I was very helpful! are in English but very understandable.

I have problems with patran student edition 2014. I'm doing some buckling analysis of a plate and a cylinder, but it gives me only static analysis, obviously select the solver 105. I also went to see if there were any parameters to change in subcases, but nothing. I also tried to do a modal analysis and it doesn't go doesn't pull it out, I don't understand why!if place the db file someone can check if it turns? at the end is only a rested and hinged plate on all 4 sides loaded on one of these.
