rapidform: development of a cylinder

Hello, I analyzed through rapidform the cloud of points of a cylinder (I scanned the 360° of the side surface of the cylinder), to verify the deformations. I now have an object, under 'inspection' of the type 'whole deviation' which represents the deformations regarding an ideal cylinder (with dimensions taken from the construction design). Do I have a way to 'develop' the deviations? so you get a 'retangle'. ...discussed but I don't even know how to express myself, I don't often use these products and already getting the deviations I was looking for I feel miraculous

mhh.... in pro/e there is a function of development in the plane of the surfaces, however, must be done well.
If you can post a step, I'll take a look.
Did I see you use cyclone... scans with leic tools?
