rapp. position + parameter

Hi.

I have an axieme with 2 rapps of position (open/closed) of a radial spindle.
the open closed position extends a part (which in reality is a rubber membrane type air chamber). as they are linear movements defined I wanted to associate a variable of quota to the part that modifies the value in the open rapp. and in the closed rapp. so as to simulate the expansion.

Do you know if it's possible?

can you bind with an adaptive sketch the geometry of the membrane?

Perhaps with an image you could understand better... .

in green are evident the sectors in radial expansion (already open)
in black the attachment of the membrane should chase them by increasing their starting diameter from 530 to 592.

no, the sketch you should do partially in change in environment together, I don't know how you designed it all and I wouldn't want you to mess up, but you should "bind" the spindle's profile to the membrane revolution profile so that the adactivity follows the position of the tooth to which it is tied. I don't know if I broke up, maybe try it, then in the weekend if I can get you one test to see if I can and if that's what you mean (always you don't get it first)

I think you do first to make two membranes with the measures related to the two positions, put both of them together and manage them with the representation of detail views, now suppressing one and now the other.

thanks for the answers.

probably the elastic effect of a radial expansion (being only representative of the sealing points) is convenient to manage it as stefanobruno suggests with the alternating suppression in the various phases of cycle.

if I want to manage the membrane as the only part maybe I tie an external xls sheet that transmits the posting values and update beyond the shift of the radial set, also the proportion of the resulting membrane by difference of the diameters.

Now I see the faster and less brain system. :biggrin:
