"real" differences between later versions

Hello, everyone. .
I would like to open a discussion about the "real" differences in daily work between the various versions of sw and if the amminers believe it feasible and useful to open a special subsection of the forum.
I press that it leaves the time that finds the spreading of the improvements introduced without an objective job feedback and that every year, at the exit of a new version, we all wonder if it is time to update or postpone when it is possible to do so.
said this and since this community is composed of people who use sw for work, I ask you the sensations you had in using the latest versions, starting from 2016 onwards.
if we use it for work it is assumed that the type of work is always the same or more or less remained such in the last 2 or 3 years and that even our way of working is not practically changed.
I try to make a small list of sensations that I think useful would be to take the desion to update.
I updated the version.... with the version.... .
- What did I really find in the daily use of the software?
- What new functions did they really facilitate me?
- Did I find that the software became heavier than before?
- Did I find this greater heaviness especially in which area?
Did I find more or less software stability?
- with the hindsight I did well to update or would it be better if I stayed with the previous version?

Trendy updates, as well as giving small or large features, give compatibility with the unstoppable updates of the s.o. that happen daily.

I look for new rider, but I would like to focus on using software only. What you say is certainly true. However I am continuing to use 2017 and until now nothing to report.
Perhaps we can also report any problems encountered of compatibility. . .

I know I'm extremist but all the improvements I don't know... It is true that they help you think about the threaded command introduced a little time ago, or to the improvements of the controls move face fitting etc, but all this has a price too salty according to me the pcs plant in the true sense of the word.
my pc is able, I think to launch the shuttle on mars; but ahimè cannot turn solidworks!!!! saying that it is planted is to say little, it is 5 years old but it is a hp z640 xeon....ssd etc etc. but at every update it becomes more and more slow than faster....they say that they improve the performance that rotations are smoother etc. etc. I use us more and more to open assemblies also very simple....but let's say it all for them goes well so they have to change hardware more and more often this is the truth.
look at the performance of the cpu if 10% of utlizzo arrives so much. . .

Hi.

hi teseo...I think it as you, with the only difference I started using really sw from 2012 instead of 2008! :) aside from the jokes, I have always found this, so much so that in my opinion, 2012 was the best definitely for performance.
