realization threaded holes in think2014

I have a little problem with think design 2014.
When I try to create threaded holes, in the choice of metric thread, it is not possible to select threads below m4.


I tried to verify the think3\2014.1\thinkdesign\files\thread.th file but inside it are present and correctly written all threads up to m1.6.

until now I used the 2008 version.

Is there anything I miss?

hi, you don't miss anything, it's so also in 2015.2
pins and hole profiles are "macro" commands that both start from m4, while the table is valid in everything and for all with the command "filettatura". In this case you must first create the solid appendix cylinder or pocket with the base diameter, and then associate the thread to the surface.
It certainly seems strange that for some reasons think3 technicians have made such a decision. but at the end you always come everywhere through "transverse" routes

to add threads (all you want) uses xml think editor
quick start -> think3 -> utility -> xml editor

you can enable threads and add new ones.

in theory the xml editor program makes a copy of the thread file in your local.

the operation must be done with thinkdesign closed.
make sure that the file you save is not read-only (where you point it from xml editor - configurations)
Third, you must be administrator of your system.. .
fourth, all-low user control settings....

I found the arch.
I set the user file folder in the xml editor settings.
This allows saving (in this folder) after changing the tables.
from here I simply overwritten them in the original directory >think3\2014.1\thinkdesign\files\holestdtable<

Now finally when I create threaded holes, all the threads list appears to me.
