recognition of functions from import ste or igs

I am trying to import an object the problem that matters it I see but it is a single block and I would like to make it recognize functions but I find it disactive
What's wrong with me?
I did the verification of the parts and it's okay but it remains disabled the recognition option functions
and parts are not divided by parts
someone can help me

when opening it is a set, save it as part and then on the part you use featureworks
to me however warns that there are parts in overlap and so it doesn't do it... maybe you have to clean it up from how much it might not serve you and then try

I had the same problem and solved it by deactivating in system options the flag "3d "active 3d interconnect" in the import section
