Hello to all I have a problem with a pdf file. I impaginato in indesign my portfolio and saved in pdf turns out to be big about 18 mb despite using the minimum settings to export it. I tried with acrobat succeeding to get to 11mb...my goal would be 2 mb...is it possible or is science fiction?
Is there someone who can enlighten me on how to do it?
I press that I imported in indesign file of photoshop for images and file of illustrator for drawings... to 300 dpi is true but using files to 150 dpi the result was almost the same. .
thanks in advance

If you have acrobat, in the "optimized" save options you can finely calibrate the compression degree, the built-in image format, etc.

If the final file is 2 mb, but of unsatisfactory quality, make us available the one from 11 mb, which we try boring.

I tried with acrobat pro 9 but I did not understand how to set to get a smaller file size I managed to switch to 11 mb doing..file. .print...adobe pdf...which I think is not exactly the optimal procedure...you know how to set the rescue..thanks

Have patience until morning, because I have no acrobat at home.

Meanwhile, send us the 11-mb monster so we don't waste time.

I opened the "book" with adobe reader, and it's nice, but because the pages are broken in two, e.g. that section (signed) of p.6-7. ?

Remember that you have acrobat, which allows you to engage every type of format, from the stamp to the stage banner.. .

the reader if you use the page display "2 on 1"..give the first single page and then the other coupled. . .

a video I can understand your makeup, but when you go print those executives and those renders.. will they be seized in two, confirm me?

playing with these settings, I got an insignificant 10% improvement.

It went better with the following procedure: in acrobat 8.1 pro, I disassembled the 71 pages exporting them to tiff, then recompressed in irfanview, and reassembled in acrobat.

This is the best compression/quality ratio I've achieved: 5.5 mb.

already 'that I was there, I made you navigable the analytic index of page 4 (to return to the top, click on the red arrow at the bottom left).

Anyway, I still haven't figured out why you saw the drawings in 2 vertical a4 sheets: couldn't you leave them whole in horizontal a3 format?

if in fact one who reads your portfolio wanted to print one of your plants, he would have to join them physically with the transparent scotch, which in the 18th century is improposable. . .

to make a book in a4..more manageable
Tell me you're joking, please...

You're a designer, not a carpenter, so it's forbidden to split a drawing in two parts: for your good, reopen those plants and print them towards pdf in horizontal a3.

If I were a potential client, and I would receive your book containing "squarified" executives, I wouldn't take it further, and I would move it directly into the fireplace, trust me.
