Hi.
my first question on the forum concerns the realization of render.
When I impose the type of render, I do not see the photorealistic option. I don't understand why. In this way the result is never great.
instead of making a render, imposed the view with more details is even better.

Can you tell me why? Can I add that function?

"photorealistic option" if it appears in some software is not a necessary condition for it to exist in all software.

to have beautiful images with and from inventor there are 4 roads.

1) (not photorealistic), play with materials, environments and ibl illuminations, shadows and reflections and visualization styles, cute, fast and light results

2) (photorealistic) raytracing (from release 2012), fast, few settings, good results

3) (photorealistic) inventor study: to get a good result you have to put hands on many variables, know how to control them and create an adequate scene using the time necessary, penalty: an undesirable result.

4)(photorealistic) export the model to other software to render it (showcases, 3dsmax, etc), sometimes even testing different v ray engines, mental ray, etc, for a desired and professional result

here is in my case the n°3 option you mentioned does not appear.
from "inventor studio" and configuring the settings present pressing on "render image", first icon on the left, I only have the following options:
1) shaded
2) illustration

Is that so for you, too?
3) photorealistic

Thank you.
Ciauz!
