Good morning.
I wanted to understand how to handle textures in revi t for rendering.
for example I know that revit already has a basic library, but if I unload textures from the internet I usually save them in c: programs(x86)/common files/autodesk/ sharedmaterials and here I can catalog them according to wall coverings floor coverings etc. etc.that is create subfolders according to the types, is this the correct way to proceed? .after when I make a rendering and choose textures for my project it would be better to create a folder related to each project where except for the textures I choose for that project and when I insert it I have to draw on that path I indicated above and to that specific folder of the project I created.
because often I happen to have to change pcs and I know that the textures jump instead if I transfer my folder with the project texutes in the path mentioned above on the new pc and then I open revit options/position of the files and add the path of the texture folder that I created the textures of the project should appear. I wanted to know if this is the right way to proceed. but if I create so many folders for each project I don't end up weighing down the pc creating copies of textures? I hope I'm explained. you can tell me how you proceed or if there is a better method. Thank you.
