renewal subscription

Good morning to all,
we have one of the subscription licenses expired.
the dealer tells us that there are 30 days of time for renewal, once passed this term autodesk no longer the possibility to renew the subscription.
the same obviously remains working with the current release but no more up-to-date if not passing to the annual subscription.
You know what?
another question, the commercial is going to another company and proposes renewal with them.
Is it a feasible thing or is the license renewed only with who sold it?
