repair files imported from iges with idd

hello to all, I am new this forum.
I wanted to give you my "problem."
for about ten years work with proes and the point "0" usually has with import iges which is then "set up".
up to a few days ago no problem with the redefinition of the import and the command "heal geometry" were able to close almost all the holes that could appear, fix the surfaces, etc... the ultimate purpose was to close the solid file.
now with the installation of version 4 of wildfire appeared in its place the nice command import date doctor :redface: which for me has several dark points.
who of you have had such experiences find the same "problems"? .
I have to solve the matter so that I can be operational as soon as possible.

in my opinion that of the wf2 was better and unsettled in a short time the file.
I used little wf4, I have to say that it was all upset.

I too until the wf3 went to the great "closed" all the files, with this new version I can not do it... and being the iges import at the base of "my" work. I'm practically still.... .

explain how wf4 idd works in two words here on the forum is impossible.
I also realize that the tutorial I recommended is not enough but helps.
Unfortunately the only way is a nice course, ask your dealer.
The only thing I can tell you is that you put some files I can try to close them and post the video of the steps I made but obviously it will take me a little and I can't assure you anything, but if I come from your side you offer me a nice dinner! ;-)

Thank you for your concern. . First of all.
see in the wf3 there was the beautiful "heal geometry" function where you automatically closed a little something and then selecting the surfaces at one to a could "play" the edges with the adjacent one. . . to put "a little" the vertebrax....this "stupid funxtions I find no more......
I've asked for a mini update and I'll probably have it soon.
but you, if you had experience with wf3, using wf4 you found benefit in this specific function? .

I have found benefit, connsider that only the tree of the surfaces that appears to you in the new idd helps you a lot in erasing, hiding, storing more surfaces.
I also find that even the most modern interface helps not little.

..ok.ok.. but how do I now put the edges in case they were open? . . .
you tell me to put the surfaces inside the command...ok.. but when they select the two seperfici the command is disabled. . .

what you can do today with the idd of the wf4 is extraordinarily better than the previous release. You can do more and better.
but the methodology has changed, the commands have changed.
I agree that it is practically impossible to explain it here and also following the manual you do not have all the info and various tricks to do a good job.

I could be available. I personally prepared a more complete exercise than you find in ptc.
