replace model and separate materials

I would like to confirm:

given sldwrks2019 and a drawing content a set of few pieces and a distinct materials "only parts", I wondered if it is possible that following these operations:

1) save by name of the design to predisporlo to welcome a new set (with the same new design name)

2) in the new design I replace model to have the new set represented in all the views

to happen

the separate materials remain attached to the previous drawing assembly file (before "save by name") and there is no way to refer it to the new set and it is necessary to delete the table and reinsert it again.

hi, if you have pdm you should replace the model from the tools do update in the folder and then open the fileIf you replace the design, try to control the properties of the model in the design if it's connected to the distinct.
