replacement sketch on existing extrusion

thanks for your timely and very detailed feedback.
I was actually looking for a more "scientific" solution.
I don't know if you know catia v5. there when you create a solid selection the reference sketch, which also in inventor you see as "son" in the browser ( logical tree in caia v5) of the solid.
I wondered if it was not possible (as in catia v5 in fact) to replace the sketch, simply selecting a different sketch.
You think we can do this?

you can select the sketch and create a new one by drawing it or pasting it from autocad. when you get out of the sketch, if the new one is very different from the first) will give you an error on the extrusion (right key > change and select the new sketch). then you will have to put in place the further work if they were no longer consistent.
