Bye to all,
how do you set father son relationships in a part?
I explain better: I made a .part file consisting of many body... I would like to make all these leotards independent as if they did not belong to the same body (type more parts attached to each other) and not as I now look like a single solid modeled.
Thanks for the help:-)

I think the solution is in your question "type more parts attached to each other" ....
you had to do + parts and then "assiemarle" .
Now if I understand you have everything in a catpart but would you like to divide them, why are they different pieces and therefore usable from other parts???????????? example 2 plates one with the holes and the other with the thread......... do I understand well??? ? ?

no... for example on solidworks when you form a solid you can come up "join result"... if you leave it unchecked you will see two parts in the solid stem.

And I don't know where and how to do it... :-)
when you are in the part go on insert and insert a body .
You will see that it appears in the left-handed tree, models by activating the boby you want and create the solid in there, create as many leotards as you want to create.

Then, if you want with the Boolean operations, you can join, intersect, etc. all the body you want......... .

Thank you very much. while sw automatically creates new partbody and then decides whether to separate them or keep them in the same body, catia automatically creates everything on the body and if you do not want to keep in the same body a new partbody must be inserted once and for a time. every time you have to act on the different created partbody you have to activate them by clicking on it and selecting "define in the object of work"
