Good evening to all, I'm new to the forum and hope not to harm.
I am not a real designer, I design everything I have to do in my workshop, from simple objects
step molds for sheet metal.
I have been using for years a cad-cam software called camtek peps.
great in use in workshop, like cam, but a little bit slender in 3d design.
I am looking for a 3d cad that allows me in particular to work with ''simplicity''' also surfaces and assemblies.
I don't know what direction to take:
solidworks
inventor
♪
fusion
which of these is the most widespread in the world and in Italy?
Is fusion 360 serious or not?
Official autodesk sellers assured me that it will be the future but I think it is not widespread.
they are also looking for a serious, group course, in order to learn the best, once you choose the software.
possible evening or Saturday, in lombardia zone milan/brescia/cremona/bergamo.
Can anyone help me?

the issue should not be placed in the solidworks section because you only answer users who use solid. the most suitable section would fall mechanical in comparison.
It's obviously a subject already dealt with, so I suggest you read a few discussions to clarify your ideas and maybe ask more targeted questions.
If I do not work with other companies, it makes little sense to ask which one is most used.
you can always try a free cad, which does not necessarily mean poor, and see if it is enough for your freecad needs for example (also this is an already treated topic)

always of autodesk there is powershape, they bought it from delcam about 4-5 years ago.
I use it since 2002, I have always made three-dimensional shoes (and other stuff overwhelmed, chairs, lutery, medical) but not being specific at all, it is free to do everything.
certain that does not make sheet metal developments such as solid edge or those software that have the appropriate "modules" for production in a specific sector.
there are three versions (and three prices), if you do not use various stl and mesh, I think even the most "economic" could do to your case.
Unfortunately it is in subscription, you can no longer buy.
