Hello I am a student and I have doubts about the use of the catia v5 program. My problem is that I have done an exercise in a product room and saved it with save management. Now I need to reuse it to make changes as I have to recreate it as another exercise. my procedure is to enter the old exercise and make save management --> save as --> ricreo the file --> propagate directory. when I return to the new file and input the change, the latter also happens in the old one and this should not happen. I don't know if there's a problem in the software but I don't know how to solve this.

you only need to select .catproduct and save management --> save as --> and indicate the new name and folder
only after you have to do --> propagate directory
