Good morning, my name is aurelia, I am a beginner of solid works and I would like to give me advice if possible. I have to print 3d a little game like the kids, where you have to put a figure in the hole with the right shape. Obviously to make this work, it is necessary that the figure is a little smaller than its "hole" or would not fit. If the figure is a figure we say "radially symmetrical" there are no problems and I can reduce the solid to be inserted in scale, but if the figure becomes more complex (e.g. a s) and the redo in scale, it does not enter well in the hole but the boundaries begin to enter into conflict. so I would like to know if there is a method to "eat the edges", like to reduce the contour of the figure - example- 1mm from the edges so that the figure keeps its "skeleton", I don't know if I explained. In particular, the figures I have to produce are not s, and are not regular, and I do them with the spline tool for which also reduce them using the quotas on the various points is very complicated. Does anyone have any advice?
