I would like to give an opinion on topsolid, I have been using it since 2003 and I have to say that I have fought a little early. but I think it is worth it to tribulate a little x learn as it is an excellent cad cam. I also use mastercamx, which is not bad, but nothing to do with topsolid.

I am new to the forum, use topsolid 6.10 in the company where I make prototypes (wood, resins, polystyrene and aluminum), I definitely recommend it x' I found it easy and well manageable, even if you have to apply a lot seen the huge extension.... cmq I agree with what written by others and with popeye that I fully quote the following:

hi ciccio1977 to change the link of the top file to the dft you have to go into the reddish file menu of the dft and then select from the drop down menu the top file connected, the system will ask you with the button explore the new top file to connect. as soon as you select the new top file you will see the dft that updates.
 
you are right topsolid is very good but to use it you have to remember by heart all the functions....... and... ..it takes time....

topsolid on millturn machines, it is really effective! Many improvements could be implemented, we hope that version 7 is more intuitive and simple.
